SAM Nine is the "Northwest Louisiana Society of Antique Modelers", an official chapter of the Society of Antique Modelers, a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).

SAM Nine was formed to aid in the preservation of the building and flying of antique aircraft models. SAM Nine members as a whole, fly radio controlled versions of antique aircraft models. There you will find also, links to interesting articles on building and flying SAM aircraft.

SAM Nine, is open to flyers of all ages who are a member of the AMA with current AMA license, and who are a current member of the Society of Antique Modelers (SAM).
